Overview

Safety light curtains create and monitor a wall of infrared light to protect personnel from hazardous machinery like press machines, wood cutting, or robotic welding. They are commonly installed at equipment access points and send a signal to stop the process if any infrared light beams are interrupted. These light curtains emit infrared beams to detect fingers or other small objects. They have a higher resolution and tighter spacing between their sensors compared to other light curtains.
